northern dogs project – factsheet
IFAW began working with First Nations communities in Canada in 2001 after being invited by the communities who sought help in solving their dog problems. Rooted in building partnerships with communities in need, the Northern Dogs Project uses multiple tools and approaches to provide resources and support to owners so they can better care for their dogs.
Every problem has a solution, every solution needs support.
The problems we face are urgent, complicated, and resistant to change. Real solutions demand creativity, hard work and involvement from people like you.
