Enabel

The Belgian development agency Enabel executes and coordinates Belgian international development policy and campaigns for a sustainable world where women and men live in the rule of law and have the freedom to develop fully. Its approach favors partnership, skills transfer, sustainability and innovation.

Enabel supports IFAW's Detection Dogs project in Benin which is implementing a new model for training and deploying detection dogs in the fight against wildlife crime.

Enabel has been active in Benin for more than 20 years, in several areas including that of promoting the private sector. It has decided, within the framework of its new Benino-Belgian bilateral cooperation program for the period 2019-2023, to support the Republic of Benin in strengthening the competitive positioning of the Port of Cotonou by facilitating investments, strengthening skills of different actors and by working on the environmental aspect. www.enabel.be
