Gesa Neitzel
Germany
Gesa Neitzel is a German nonfiction-writer focussing on Africa, Safaris, and conservation. She was a tv-editor in Berlin before she trained as a safari guide in southern Africa in 2015. She spent the next five years on research trips and safaris with her own clients all across the African continent; including Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Uganda, Malawi and Tanzania. During the Covid 19 pandemic, she accompanied her partner Frank to his native Australia. There she is currently devoting herself entirely to writing until they can travel to Africa again. In 2016, her German bestseller "Breakfast with Elephants" was published, followed by "The Wonderful Wild," her guide back to a wilder life. In 2021, "Lion Hearts," the sequel to her debut, will be published, as well as her vegan camping cookbook "Safari Kitchen."
