Roundtable: Noise, collisions & solutions

On 9 July 2024, IFAW organised a roundtable event hosted by the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) at their headquarters in Geneva to discuss the issues of underwater noise and ship strikes for marine life and explore the available solutions to address these threats. Bringing together about 30 representatives from the shipping industry as well as European and national policy makers, this event allowed an open exchange of information among the participants who explored the opportunities to collaborate on these important conservation issues.
