Eugénie Pimont
Growing up in the French countryside, Eugénie developed a deep connection with nature and the delicate balance that keeps ecosystems flourishing. After a first experience defending press freedom in Asia at Reporters Without Borders, she now brings her NGO project management skills to support IFAW’s work in helping animals and people thrive together.
As the Wildlife Cybercrime Officer, Eugénie contributes to IFAW's global wildlife cybercrime portfolio and, amongst other responsibilities, oversees IFAW research projects that tackle illegal wildlife trade online.
With a Bachelor’s in Applied Foreign Languages (English and Mandarin) and a Master’s in Investigative Journalism, Eugénie has studied in both France and China.
