Jacquiline Bubi
Jacquiline Bubi is the Senior Wildlife Crime Analyst with IFAW, based in Nairobi, Kenya. She has over 10 years of experience working as a wildlife crime professional specialised in transnational organised crime, law enforcement, wildlife security, intelligence operations, analysis, and training.
She began her career as a community warden at the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and later trained and worked as an intelligence officer before transitioning to an intelligence analyst. She later moved to the Netherlands and worked as an intelligence analyst for the Wildlife Justice Commission (WJC) based in The Hague, where she gained more experience in intelligence analysis, database management, and training wildlife law enforcement in advanced crime analysis. This was in support of various wildlife law enforcement organisations and conservation organisations across the globe.
Her role at IFAW is leading the planning and developing of various capacity-building programmes and training modules to support IFAW partners including Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), and the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority (ECWA), among others. In collaboration with IFAW’s Wildlife Crime programme team and community wildlife rangers in Amboseli and Tsavo, she works to develop and disseminate wildlife crime analytical reports to aid in wildlife protection and safety. Jacquiline holds a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and a bachelor's in Biochemistry and Zoology from the University of Nairobi.
